CMTAI organizes an annual invitation-only knowledge and skills exchange (the first of its kind) for creative arts therapists across India. The facilitators share and inter-change case studies, practices, methodologies, etc. across disciplines of drama, music, dance and visual art therapies through lecture demonstrations and experiential workshops. Their presentation generally include:
- Description of therapeutic needs & issues of their client(s)
- Artistic modalities & techniques they used
- Responses and reactions of their client(s) during therapy
- Ultimate outcomes and results of their therapeutic interventions
CREATIVE EXCHANGE 2017
The third annual Creative Exchange took place in Udaipur, Rajasthan from 30th June to 2nd July, 2017. The Exchange turned up to be a rewarding, thought-provoking and rejuvenating experience.
CREATIVE EXCHANGE 2016
The second annual Creative Exchange took place in Kochi, Kerala from 29th to 31st July, 2016. The Exchange saw outstanding enthusiasm and participation by a total of 30 arts therapists, including 12 presenters from different arts therapies who had been invited to present case studies of their interventions with individuals and/or groups in an innovative manner.
CREATIVE EXCHANGE 2015
The first annual Creative Exchange was held in Goa from 24 to 26 July, 2015. The forum gave 18 practitioners an opportunity to share, listen and exchange practical skills and theoretical knowledge based on select topics from Creative Movement and Arts-based Therapies.
